Peoria Hosts Nursing Home Conference

The business of nursing home care is taking center stage in downtown Peoria this week.

The Illinois Health Care Association is holding its annual convention and trade show at the Peoria Civic Center and the Hotel Pere Marquette.

Illinois Health Care Association President Robert Hedges says while the nursing home industry is one of the most regulated industries in the state, he believes it also continues to provide more service for less cost.

The convention runs through Thursday in Peoria.
