When a hysterectomy is recommended, women now have a revolutionary new option to consider. A Da Vinci robotic hysterectomy offers many benefits over traditional surgeries.
Robotic hysterectomy, now performed at Methodist Medical Center, is a minimally invasive advanced laparoscopic surgery that uses state-of-the-art robot technology and magnified 3D vision. The robotic micro-instruments translate the precise movements of the surgeon’s hands while filtering out even the slightest tremors. High-definition scaled 3D imaging allows for outstanding viewing and manipulation of sensitive nerves and tissues
Drs. Marc Boyd and Tracy Bochantin will be “Docs on Call” April 19th at 6:30 p.m. for a detailed discussion of this new technology and what it means for women facing surgery. Be sure to tune in to Docs on Call April 19 at 6:30 PM as we discuss the latest in robotic hysterectomies. You can ask your question of the experts by calling 309-698-3742. You can also talk to Dr. David Kindred through a live online chat on April 19. Ask a Question
