Many illnesses, even serious ones, are very treatable if diagnosed in their early stages. This is especially true with breast cancer. Early detection is your best protection.

The fact is the incidence of breast cancer continues to rise, and while the cure is still unknown, progress is being made each day. The one thing you should know is that early detection offers you the best chance of beating this disease.

“Buddy Check 25” is a program designed to remind women of all ages to be aware of their breast health. Please share the information in this folder with a friend or relative. Then, on the 25th of each month, check with your buddy to ensure you have both completed your monthly breast self exam (BSE). Your BSE, annual physical and yearly mammography screening, after age 40 are the key components in the successful fight against breast cancer.
