Gina Ford joined the News 25 team in April of 2008. She is a native of Washington, DC and grew up on Capitol Hill. She comes from a family of reporters, and went to the University of Kansas where she earned her undergraduate degree in braodcast journalism.

Gina was a reporter and anchor for KUJH-TV in Lawrence, Kansas for two and a half years. Over the years, she knew that news was her calling, so interned at WJLA-TV in Washington, DC, KAKE-TV in Wichita, Kansas, and Fox News Channel, to get an inside look.

Gina loves to travel abroad and so far has visited Brazil, Africa, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Canada and Mexico. She hopes one day, her love for journalism will allow her to work abroad.

In her spare time, Gina loves to workout, dance, shop, and spend time with children. She is so proud to be a part of your home team!
